Applicants who have already obtained a high school graduation diploma

  • VII. A brief personal statement, to outline your reasons for wishing to enroll in the program
  • VIII. Reference letters (optional) | Reference letters that have no letterhead, contact details of the referees as well as signature will not be considered and evaluated.

Complete all required information carefully and upload all documentation and certificates described in STEP 1.

  • After submitting your application, you will receive an automatic email with your Application ID and a summary of your application.

Your high school diploma and transcripts for the final two years of high school must be Apostilled or Notarized.

 

~ If your country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, an Apostille must be attached to these documents.

~ If your country is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, the documents must be certified/notarized by the relevant Hellenic Consulate or Embassy officee in your country.

 

Applicants who have already obtained a high school diploma (graduates) are required to upload the aforementioned documents as part of their application.

Applicants who are currently in their final year of high school (high scholl students) are requested to apostille or notarize the aforementioned documents as soon as they are obtained and send them by email to medicen@uoa.gr (mentioning Application ID as subject).

  • If you are admitted to the program, you will be required to present the apostilled or notarized original documents during your registration.
  • Note: The Admissions Office may request additional documentation to be apostilled or notarized upon review of your application file.

If you meet the requirements and your application file is complete, it will be reviewed and assessed by the Program Committee. Following this evaluation, the Committee will determine whether you are qualified for an interview. If selected, you will be invited to participate in an online interview. After the interview, if you are chosen for admission to the program, you will receive an acceptance letter, either conditional or unconditional.

NB: the applicant is fully responsible to check her/his email account (also check “trash” folder) for updates on her/his application and not expect phone calls. 

An admission letter (conditional or unconditional) will be sent to you if you have successfully passed the interview. To secure a place in the program you will need to proceed with paying the amount of 3,000, within the deadline set in the admission letter. 

Should a candidate be admitted to the program, a non-refundable deposit of €3,000 is required within the specified timeframe to secure a place in the program. Instructions on how to make the payment will be provided directly to the applicant.  A receipt will be sent to you as soon as the University financial authorities have traced the money of the deposit.
This amount will be deducted from the tuition fees and  the rest of 10,000 should be deposited in two installments (early-September and mid-January).

Note: The deposit of €3,000 is refundable only under the following circumstances:

  1. If a conditionally admitted student does not meet the predicted grades, the Program Committee may withdraw the offer of admission and refund the deposit amount of €3,000.
  2. If an admitted applicant encounters issues with visa issuance that prevent enrollment.

 

 

Health insurance

You should have arranged for private health insurance, covering your stay in Greece during your studies before you can enroll in the program.

Visa Application

If you are a non-EU citizen, you will have to apply for a long-stay student national visa (Type of Visa: National-D, Category “D.1.1 Studies”) by the Hellenic Embassy or Consular authority in your country. Visit https://www.mfa.gr/en/visas for further information.
