Tuition fees for the academic year 2023-2024 for EU and non-EU citizens are 13.000 EUR. 

Tuition fees are generally paid in two installments. Should a candidate be admitted to the program a deposit of 3,000 euros (non-refundable) is required in due time to secure a place in the program. This amount will be deducted from the tuition fees and the rest of 10,000 euro should be deposited in two installments (mid-September and mid-January).

Applications Platform opened on November 14th, 2022.

The deadline for the application process is March 15th, 2023.

1.    The program is addressed exclusively to foreign nationals of EU and non-EU countries (National ID card and passport will be required for proof).

2.    Eligible applicants should have attended the final two classes of high school (or equivalent school) in a foreign country and should have obtained a high school diploma (JUNE 2023 or earlier) or other equivalent secondary education diploma that entitles them to admission to higher education institutions in the country where they graduated. (A high school graduation diploma and two final years’ academic transcripts will be required, both in the original language and in an official translation in English).

3.    Eligible applicants should have obtained at least one of the following:

  • 3.1. International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 38 points overall, including three higher level subjects (two of them should be selected from Physics, Chemistry, Biology), and three standard level subjects.
  • 3.2.  A- Level subject-based qualification, with minimum grades AAA, taken in one set of exams. Subjects requested are Chemistry, Biology and one more science subject (i.e., Physics, Mathematics). Please note that the standard offer is likely to be A*AA with the A* in either Chemistry or Biology.
  • 3.3. BioMedical Admission Test (BMAT).  Examination periods accepted: 2022 and February 2023.
  • 3.4.  Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT).  Examination periods accepted: 2021,2022, 2023.
  • 3.5.  BSc cognate to medicine from an accredited institution with a minimum overall grade 65% or equivalent grade to a different grading system. Final year graduating students must have predicted 65% or equivalent grade to a different grading system.
  • 3.6. Pre-med program

If you are not a native speaker or you have not a graduation diploma from a high school with the instruction in the English language, then you need to have one of the following: 

  • - TOEFL score (with a minimum score 80/120)
  • - IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 or above, with at least 5.5 in each component.
  • - First Certificate in English (FCE): B2

There are no scholarships available for the academic year 2023-2024.

A pre-med program is designed to cover all the science and laboratory requirements needed for continued education in medicine or healthcare.

Pre-med is not a major itself but rather a program that ensures students take all the required classes needed to apply for medical school. Therefore, do not confuse your group or the subjects you have chosen to obtain your high school diploma.

We will not accept applications from students who wish to transfer from other medical programs.

No. You must be in your final year or a graduate of a degree cognate to health sciences, before we will consider your application.

If you meet the requirements and your file is completed , it will be examined and evaluated by the committee. After that the committee will decide whether you are qualified to proceed with an interview. If yes, you will be called in for an interview. An acceptance letter will be sent to you, If you are selected.

Interviews for all applicants will be held online. 

If you are under 18 on the start date of the course and you have been selected for the course after an interview, you will be contacted by the admissions office to provide parental contact details to ensure you have permission to participate in certain elements of the program that require parental consent. 

As an EU citizen you can enter Greece with your Identity card or passport. For further information, you should also contact the authorities of your country.

As a non-EU citizen, you will have to apply for a long-stay student national visa (Type of Visa: National-D, Category “D.1.1 Studies”) by the Hellenic Embassy or Consular authority in your country. Visit https://www.mfa.gr/en/visas for further information. Upon arrival in Greece, non-EU citizens will need to apply for a long-term residence permit for studies.

You should have arranged for private health insurance, covering your stay in Greece during your studies before you can enroll in the program.
