We are delighted to see the Medical Degree English Program of the School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, featured in the 11th annual English-language special edition “Study Abroad in Greece & Cyprus” by The National Herald.

Under the title “NKUA School of Medicine: Rooted in Athens, Connected to the World,” Professor Nikolaos Arkadopoulos, Dean of the School of Medicine, shares his perspective on what makes studying Medicine at NKUA distinctive: a strong academic tradition, extensive clinical exposure, research opportunities and an increasingly international academic environment.

The special issue also features the Medical Degree English Program, highlighting its six-year curriculum taught entirely in English, clinical training in University Hospitals, and the unique opportunity to study Medicine in Athens — a city where the history of Medicine meets a vibrant contemporary academic and scientific community.

From Athens to the world, the goal remains clear: to educate the next generation of doctors in an environment that combines academic excellence, clinical experience, research and international perspectives.

Our sincere thanks to The National Herald for this special feature and for contributing to the international visibility of Greek higher education.
